HOOK: Have the students answer a writing prompt: What was the most difficult thing I experienced in directing my fairytale scene? How can I improve as a director? Have the students turn these responses in to the teacher.
Step 1
ASSESSMENT: Each student’s fairytale scene will be performed for the class. Students will be graded on a rubric.
Step 2
DISCUSSION: After each scene performs, students will provide feedback on the scene, discussing things that were really effective as well as ways that the director could improve the scene.
