Tech lessons focus on technical theatre design or execution. Lessons can be used as stand-alone topics or combined with any technical theatre curriculum.

Students will demonstrate their understanding of technical theatre terms by completing a crossword puzzle.
Students will demonstrate an understanding of lighting color by placing themselves in a color wheel, and by participating in an activity with gels and lights.
The students will display their abilities to recognize the way clothing affects a character by creating a costume clothing design for a character that they are performing.
Students will demonstrate their understanding on how costumes and props can affect/form character by drawing a costume design for their character and writing a list of props their character might use.
Students will demonstrate their knowledge of basic drill use and platform construction by attaching legs and casters to a platform using drills and impact drivers.
