Students will demonstrate their understanding of the basic principles of vocal technique by performing in a duet for the class.
Hook:
Give students time to work with their partner to get warmed up and ready to perform. Remind them to both warm up their vocals and their bodies so they are prepared.
Step 1: Practice/Assessment:
Students will perform in their duets for the class. Remind those watching that they are to take notes for those performing to hand to them at the end of each performance. Give them feedback on their vocal performance and they will each receive 100/100 points for participating in the performance based on the following rubric. Each category is worth 25 points.
