Students will demonstrate their understanding of the basic principles of technique by previewing their duet for the class and giving/receiving feedback.
Hook:
Give students time to work with their partner to get warmed up and ready to perform. Remind them to both warm up their vocals and their bodies so they are prepared.
Step 1: Practice/Assessment:
Students will perform in their duets for the class. Remind those watching that they are to take notes for those performing to hand to them at the end of each performance as well as telling notes to the performers at the end of each performance. Give them feedback on their vocal performance and they will each receive 50/50 points for participating in the preview.
