Dun dun.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThree\u201d in a Boat\u2014can be said with any number. That count of players must stand in a line, rowing their boat.<\/p>\n<p>Swab the Deck\u2014one person stands with hands together above their head as the mop, the second player circles their arms around the \u201cmop\u2019s\u201d legs as the bucket.<\/p>\n<p>Octopus\u20144 players stand back to back and wiggle their arms, the 8 tentacles.<\/p>\n<p>Crows Nest\u2014one player jumps on another\u2019s back, piggy back style, and flaps their arms like a crow. \u201cCaw caw!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Porthole\u2014two players come together and form a vertical circle with their arms while a third player pokes their face through the porthole.<\/p>\n<p>Captain\u2019s Coming\u2014at players freeze in salute, at attention.<\/p>\n<p>At Ease\u2014only said after captain\u2019s coming. Releases students from attention. Serves as a \u201cSimon Says\u201d, does not have to be said between Captain\u2019s Coming and another command, to eliminate.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Practice<\/strong>&#8212; Give students 5 minutes practice time to run through their audition alone.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Assessment: <\/strong>(70 minutes)<\/p>\n<p>Today is our final assessment. We\u2019re going to perform the monologues we\u2019ve been working on all month. Write numbers 1-21 on the board for a signup order. This will help keep flow moving.<\/p>\n<p>For the remainder of the class, have students perform their slates and two monologues in audition fashion.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wrap Up: <\/strong>(2 minutes)<\/p>\n<p>What have you learned in this unit that will help you as an actor?
