Objective: Students will demonstrate their understanding of Image Theatre by analyzing Act 1 Scene 2 of \u2018A Raisin in the Sun\u2019<\/p>\n

Assignment – Self-Reflection<\/u><\/p>\n

Reflect on the Story Gifts activity from class, then type your responses. Respond to each questions with 2-3 complete sentences.<\/p>\n

  1. What did you discover about your partner from this activity?<\/li>\n
  2. How did it feel to interpret someone else’s story?<\/li>\n
  3. What were your reactions\/thoughts while you watched someone else tell your story?<\/li>\n
  4. What did you discover about oppression?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Assignment – Analyzing Images Online<\/u><\/p>\n

    Find an image online (Google, social media, etc.) that tells an engaging and meaningful story. It can be a painting or photography. Copy and paste the image or link into your response, then answer these questions:<\/p>\n

    1. Why does this image speak to you?<\/li>\n
    2. What story do you see?<\/li>\n
    3. Ask a friend or family member what story they see, share their response<\/li>\n
    4. Compare\/contrast the two stories (yours and your friend’s\/family’s)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      After reading A Raisin in the Sun Act 1,\u00a0 Scene 2, respond to these discussion questions:<\/p>\n
