Directions<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Anticipatory Set\/Hook<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Arrange the chairs into two equal semi-circles in front of the board.\u00a0\u00a0Label them \u201cGroup 1\u201d and \u201cGroup 2.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0Create a score card on the board (similar to the chart below).\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Make sure the students sit on the floor at the beginning of hat.\u00a0\u00a0As students show you their numbers, have them sit in the chairs marked with their number.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3\u2014<\/strong>Explain the Rules of the Game.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No one can speak out of turn.\u00a0\u00a0If they do, their team loses a point.<\/li>\n<li>The members of the teams will take turns.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>A question will be read handouts (including a copy of the Quiz questions), homework and Portfolio Assignments.\u00a0\u00a0Explain the homework.\u00a0Emphasize that these assignments need to be completed at home and put in their portfolios.\u00a0\u00a0Be sure to remind the students that they proved that they know the answers in the game today.\u00a0\u00a0If they need some help, they can collaborate with another student
