{"id":1059,"date":"2015-02-24T20:27:51","date_gmt":"2015-02-24T20:27:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tedb-wp.byu.edu\/?page_id=1059"},"modified":"2015-05-14T19:15:44","modified_gmt":"2015-05-14T19:15:44","slug":"lesson-6-test-day","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/tedb-old.byu.edu\/?page_id=1059","title":{"rendered":"Lesson 6\u2014Test Day!"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVE:<\/h4>\n<p>Students will demonstrate their knowledge of Greek theatre history by taking a formal test.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>TEXTS AND LITERACIES:<\/h4>\n<p>Text: The Formal Test<br \/> Literacies: The previous 5 lessons, the slips of paper with their questions, allowing them to ask any remaining questions, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>MATERIALS:<\/h4>\n<p>\u2022 Greek History test &#8211;\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/tedb-old.byu.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/Lesson-6.Greek-Test.docx\">Lesson 6.Greek Test<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>HOOK:<\/h4>\n<p>Have the students warm up their bodies\/get their energy out by doing the 8-6-4-2-1-1-1-1 shaking game.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>TEACHING PRESENTATION:<\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Step 1: Check for Understanding<\/h5>\n<p>Answer the students\u2019 questions that they wrote on pieces of paper at the end of the previous lesson. Try to come prepared with similar questions already grouped together to maximize time. Ask students for any remaining questions or uncertainties.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h5>Step 2: Transition<\/h5>\n<p>Hand out the test and tell the class they have about 15 minutes to take the test.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>CLOSURE AND ASSESSMENT:<\/h4>\n<p>Students will take a formal test covering the material that has been taught in the last four lessons.
